I've raised £4300 to fund my Costa Rica expedition with 2020, to aid those living in poverty and my improving their quality of life.

Hello, my name is Callie Adams and I am a 19 year old student In university. In the July of 2020 I will be making a life changing 4 week expedition to Costa Rica.
I will be involved in projects to help improve the living and educational standards of people living in communities such as building homes (laying foundations, plastering, decorating buildings, mixing cement) and planting crops. I will also be contributing by helping build schools and homes for children and families in need. By working within a team to build the local people a house and a school for instance; we are building them a future and I can see it shining bright!
I will also be part of a team doing environmental & wildlife conservation such as collecting plastic refuse in the sea and recycling to protect local wildlife.
The reason I chose to go on this expedition is because I feel that I can make a difference out there. I can help change lives for the better and create a future full of smiles and happy faces, and I can feel proud of my actions. I look at all these images of starving children drinking dirty water, skin is dirty and wearing torn and battered clothes. I think to myself " This isn't right. This has to change." My goal is to bring peace to this world and return it to its natural state. Camp International gives us an opportunity to realise this goal.
You can help make this a reality too. By donating you are empowering me to do this work on your behalf, you are helping create a beautiful reality for the people of Costa Rica and Nicaragua. I am eternally grateful to all of you that have and will contribute into making this happen!
Thank you everyone.
