Story

***THIS IS THE LATEST FUND RAISING PAGE THAT I (CALLUM AIKEN) HAVE HAD TO REMAKE DUE TO A MISTAKE ON MY BEHALF!!!***

JUSTGIVING.COM had emailed me several times to put in my bank details ( i never saw the emails) and threatened if i didn't they would have to refund all that have donated. I only know this now after find the emails in my inbox/spam folder!

On a personal note, i sincerely apologise to everyone, and i would like reach out to you all to be so kind to send the money back to the pot, as i have finally got the fund matching from my company NORTHERN POWERGRID set up and ready to be signed of by our CEO.

Squash to the local community is not just a game, its a place where we can come for an escape from every day life, forgetting the pressures we may face at home, or at work. Not only the physical, but the mental health side of this sport for me personally has been massively beneficial and i know i speak on many others. So PLEASE PLEAS E PLEASE can we get back to our original pot of £1640 so my company can match the pot with a fantastic and generous contribution of £1500

HOW IT WENT DOWN:

As many of you know by now, Horncastle Squash club was hit by the flooding on the 20th of October 2023, ruining our wonderful squash courts. Many clubs across the county have either offered us use of their courts or are putting on events to help towards fund raising to get new courts in situ. This is all incredible and as a club we are so appreciative of this.

The Wells clan plus Callum Aiken, Mick Poole and Chris Cave are setting off on a mission to cover the distance between all clubs (161 Miles) that have offered us facilities/fundraising events, on Sunday the 19th November, starting at 0930 at the club via treadmill, bike or rowing.

This is where us asking for your help comes in.

Sponsoring the team? Any donations will help massively (Callums work Northern Powergrid have kindly offered to match any money we raise up to the value of £1500)
