What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
The Underground Explorers are made up of 36 Scouts and Explorers and 4 Adult Leaders who are working hard to reach the £164,000 fundraising target required for this Jamboree. This is a worldwide scouting event for around 40,000 young people from across the globe and an international adventure and celebration of cooperation and unity. Some of the funds raised by the Greater London North Scout Jamboree Unit are used to support scouts from developing countries in attending the Jamboree, because without support from the developed world these young people would never be able to attend an event like this. Sometimes we also work in partnership with other charities to demonstrate our commitment to our communities and to help other people in need.
