I've raised £5000 to to supply art equipment to the Teenage Cancer Trust, and other fun activity equipment. When you have cancer life does not have to stop

Our 19 year old Son was diagnosed with a grade 4 Glioblastoma brain tumour. He went through three brain operations, Chemotherapy, and Radiotherapy. On the 4th of April 2018, he passed away in our arms. During his treatment, he spent time on ward 27 and 39 at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. This ward is set up by the Teenage Cancer Trust. The patients have their own room, toilet, TV, and a bed whereby a family member can stay with them. The ward also has a chill out room, so that the patients have a juke box, sofas, game machines and activities. Because a patient has Cancer, it does not mean life has to stop, and I can personally say it does make a difference and we can't thank them enough. Other hospitals also have these types of wards funded by the TCT. As our Son loved art, we will be fundraising for the TCT, then obtain art materials, and other fun activities so that they can be used in the wards. Any art suppliers, that have seen this page and are willing to donate supplies, please would you forward these for the attention of Katie on ward 27, in the memory of Callum. Thank you for your support. :o)
