Weʼre raising £2,500 to Help out Xander and his family.

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
On June 10th I ran in the Yeovil Marathon raising money for Xander and his family. This fundraising page is still live any any donations are appreciated. If anyone wants to use the page for their fundraising event just drop me a message.
For those of you who are unaware, Xander fell from a tree and shattered his T12 vertebra. He had surgery to remove the bone that was in his spinal cord, however he has been left with no movement or feeling in his legs. The journey now is very uncertain, he is currently on flat bed rest for 6 weeks and will then be transferred to Oswestry in Wales. If you want to follow Xanders recovery follow @six_weeks_in_bed on Instagram.
The money raised will go to Xander and his family to be spent on things such as accommodation in Wales, travel costs and specialist equipment that may be required in the future. Any money that is not used will be donated to Spinal Injuries Association https://www.spinal.co.uk/

I just wanted to say a massive thanks to everyone who has donated. The marathon went very well and I finished with a time of 04:00.04. The support has been immense and together we’ve raised such a large amount of money. This page is going to stay active for as long as possible so we can continue to raise more money, if anyone else wants to use this page for their fundraising just drop me a message. What the money will be used for is still uncertain but we hope that Xander will not need any of it and that it will go straight to the SIA Cheers x
