Story
I am running the 40K Manchester marathon this April for Oakdale school-
A SEN school in Tameside that my daughter attends.
All SEN schools are severely underfunded and deserve so much more for the work they do with the children who attend these provisions. This provision in particular from personal experience go above and beyond to make the most out of what they do have, to give our children the best education catered to each and every one of their individual needs.
There's not a day my daughter comes home from school and isn't glowing with happiness and even though she is non-verbal you can see from her action/expressions that she's just had the best day!
As a parent I can't think of a better feeling than the feeling i get seeing my girl happy and I am so grateful to this school and its staff for contributing to that.
I'd love to give a little back to them as I know she's one of many whose life's this school makes a huge positive difference too.
im sure the children would love and benefit from
new sensory toys/lights
Materials for arts/crafts
Indoor/Outdoor toys
Story books
And any other things that may be a little worn and need replacing/upgrading.
This donation could go a long way in helping the items above be a possibility for all year groups to enjoy at school.
It's not just up to them to make a difference, together we all can! If you are able to - please support me in raising as much as possible so we can make the children's learning experiences at oakdale a little more magical.
any donation amount is greatly appreciated.
