Jade Aid was set up by my Taekwondo instructor’s family to help support her daughter Jade, who suffers from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a condition that leaves her largely wheelchair-bound. As the condition is very rare, they need to travel as far as Bath for any treatment, which is extremely expensive in terms of travel costs. We’re currently halfway towards our £30000 target which will pay for well-needed house renovations and any medical costs that add up.
