Last year I went to San Marino with the U16 Scotland squad and this year I have another chance to be selected and compete in the Euro C competition in Albania. I have always loved playing basketball, I have played the sport since I was 8 for a local club and have been selected for Scotland Youth programmes since I was 10 but it upsets me that the sport that is ever increasing in numbers of kids playing is so desperatetly underfunded in the UK. We as part of the team have to raise as much as possible to make the trip to Albania to hopefully better our amazing finishing position of 4th last year.
