In December 2021 our world was shattered and changed forever. We lost our beautiful boy Callum. While Cal gave the greatest gift of hope and life to others by donating his organs. We want to give back to the place he spent his last day. Neuro ICU looked after him and us with the most compassion and care knowing what the outcome was. I am running the Great North Run 2025 to raise money to buy memory boxes which can be given to families whose loved one are receiving end of life care. Having been in that position we know how important small acts of care and kindness are and how that helps not only at the time but afterwards also. As his mum I just want to do something to say thank you for looking after him.
