£20raised of £4,000 target by 1 supporter

Weʼve raised £20 to Fund a school prom for children with severe learning disabilities

    Birmingham, UK
Funded on Friday, 21st December 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Every year Calthorpe Academy source an appropriate venue to host our school Prom. Over the past 2 years we have found this very difficult due to the cost of a suitable venue that would be accessible for all of our pupils, who have a variety of physical and learning disabilities.
We are a large SEN School in Birmingham and we accommodate for approximately 390 pupils with a wide range of special needs.
The majority of our pupils would not have the ability or opportunity to have access to this type of event without the support of the Academy.
We would like to make this evening as magical as possible and an experience that our pupils and their families would cherish for the rest of their lives.
I kindly ask for all to give generously to this most amazing cause for our pupils and let it be a massive celebration of their journey at Calthorpe Academy
