I've raised £5000 to Fund the day-to-day costs of the Cambodian Kids Care Center

I have been a full-time, self-funded volunteer at the Cambodian Kids Care Center (www.facebook.com/cambodiankidscarecenter) for almost one year. Funded entirely by donations, it is a wonderful facility that provides a safe, nurturing environment to children who would not otherwise have access to daycare or education.
Uan, the director of the care center, picks up the children each morning and drops them at home in the afternoon. He has been doing this for 12 years. We feed and educate them and take an interest in their lives. As you can see, we have a lot of fun playing games each afternoon, all the while improving the children's English (their third language!). We also support the older children's participation in local exams. Recently one of our students scored 3.89/4.0 in her test. She hopes to one day study at university.
The children, who have endured displacement and other challenges, are beautiful souls. They are kind, gracious fun and loving. I have no words to describe some of the things I've seen, for instance when one child gave food to a hungry elderly man who lives close to our center.
During the past year I have personally contributed a little less than the amount I am trying to raise here (paying for all of our trips, as well as the land rent), and if we reach our goal, we will ensure the center’s medium-term future. Please consider donating to this fantastic cause. All your money will be spent on the costs of operating the center, which are quite minimal: just $1.30 effectively pays for one child to attend our care center each day.
Thank you for your time.
