I am a nurse with a mission to bring back to the people in my local community the power and support to help and support the dying. Before modern medicine, people use to die at home in the comforting hands of their friends and family. They were helped along this difficult journey with love, compassion and community spirit. Today people die in places they don't want to be, we need community to adopt a very ancient and humbling approach to get people back with families who have learned to look after our ageing population. We all want to live longer and healthier but we all must die and our NHS is at breaking point. We can only take responsibility if we learn some of these skills ourselves. Please donate so I can make up some comfort and advice packs for families to help them support themselves. And so I can teach volunteers to support the aswell.

I don't know where I will find all the time, but eventually I want this to be my full time job, bringing the living back in touch with the dying.
