Cambusnethan Miners Boxing Club undertook renovations of our hall over the summer to ensure our facilities were fit for purpose all year round.
In years gone by we have been affected by lack of proper heating and insulation in the cold winters, and have lost many of our younger members during this period.

We have so far invested over £2500 to strengthen the joists and completely replace the flooring, which was only possible through previous fundraising and some of our senior members providing their services free of charge.
We required a further £2000 to complete the refurb in its entirety, £1000 of which we have managed through our ASDA bag pack and a 10k fundraiser of which we are extremely grateful for but, we need a wee bit more!

We provide a valuable service to the community and many of you will have had some contact with the club over the years, either personally or through friends or family, and are aware of the good work we do.
We are not a business and run on a completely voluntary basis and as we currently have no sponsorship, we rely on fundraising and club fees, which are kept to a minimum to ensure access to all.
We consistently produce champions each season, having 2 boxing for Scotland and 1 at European level last year but, almost as importantly we give youngsters the opportunity to develop themselves wether they compete or not.

In order to continue growing as a club and providing these services we need to be able to develop AND retain the kids who come through our door.
