Iʼve raised £560 to to fund activities for the residents, so they can enjoy their quarantine as much as possible, even if they can't see their loved ones.

Story
Over this period of quarantine care homes have been under immense pressure to keep their residents safe, which has involved preventing any visitors, to prevent the spread of the virus to vulnerable residents. Although this measure is vital, it has still greatly impacted those at the care home as they can no longer receive visits from loved ones. Therefore, the money that I raise will be used to fund activities for the residents, so that although they are not able to see those whom they care about, they are still able to enjoy their quarantine as much as possible.

4 years agoHi there, Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to the page, I never dreamed I would hit my target so soon. I have contacted the care home, and we are working to transfer the money which has just been withdrawn from the page. Also, I have exceeded my running target by 20 km, and I am going to keep going, as I have grown to enjoy my regular runs. Once again thank you so much for your extremely generous donations and I hope everyone stays safe :)

When my GCSEs were cancelled I suddenly had a vast amount of time to fill, so I decided that I wanted to help my local community and improve my own fitness. Therefore, I set myself the target of running 100 km over a period of weeks to raise £500 for my care home.
