Story

My brother Cameron is 25 years old and has severe learning disabilities. He was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called Monosomy 1P36 Deletion Syndrome. This affects his ability to communicate, his mobility, his independence but most of all his freedom as a 25 year old lad to just get up and do the things he loves independently. He constantly needs someone by his side to support him and meet his needs. Now don't get me wrong, he really is the happiest chap I know and really does demonstrate that no matter what you have or haven't got you can still be happy! The things that really make him happy are swimming and being outdoors. Bike riding is something he has always loved and got great pleasure from. We often hire an accessible bike however it is getting harder and harder to find places which cater for his needs with this particular bike. It would be AMAZING if he could have one of his own to just get up and go as he pleases! Myself and a few friends will be taking part in Tough Mudder July 2019 aiming to raise as much as we can to contribute to this! It would be much appreciated if you sponsored us through this Just Giving page to enable my brother to live his BEST LIFE! :)
