We are university undergraduates hoping to fund-raise enough money to be able to travel to Thailand, as part of 'Camp Thailand', from the 11th August to the 1st September 2017. In order to raise this money we will be collecting sponsorships for a group of us to collectively cycle and run the entire width of Thailand (485 miles).

Volunteering abroad through Camp Thailand will provide us with TEFL qualifications in order for us to teach English as a foreign language in camps, schools, and orphanages on our trip; a qualification which we can use in further volunteering work all over the world.

We are intent on learning more about the culture of this intriguing country as we volunteer with the local community, this being the first experience of this kind for all of us.

Camp Thailand will also give us an opportunity to volunteer with elephants and their local conservation efforts, working alongside rescued elephants among other animals.

The money raised will go primarily towards flights, accomodation and fees required by Camp Thailand itself.
