Me and my friend ross are planning on doing a 40 mile walk on july 20th (weather dependent, may be the 21st or 22nd) we chose to raise money for the shetland RNLI lifeboats as they do great work and are a brilliant service. helping those who are in distress at sea, with both of us working at sea and spending alot of free time on/around the water. we hope we never have to need them, but we sure would be happy to see them coming for us if we ever did need them. So we thought we would do a 40 mile walk to try raise some donations for such a good cause.

The plan will be to walk from scalloway to sandwick, around Sandwick and back towards scalloway then out to hamnavoe, around hamnavoe and then back all around scalloway to make up the last of the 40 miles
