Cats are often seen as pests and mistreated on the streets of Malaysia but Luke (founder of Meowisland) envisioned a safe place for all animals on an island in Pekan, Malaysia. He created an island where they were fed, watered and cared for more than you could imagine. Sadly we lost our dear friend not long after I met him so I am running the Brighton half marathon in his memory as well as to help continue the care for the sweetest little cats you could ever imagine. They desperately need funds to build a clinic on the island as some cats are still on the mainland in a cat shelter until this can happen. A little can go a long way and I'd be grateful for any small amount you can give. I promise to post pictures and videos of the cats and you'll see why I hold this sanctuary so close to my heart.
