Story

Chase has recently under gone various tests in the last year to see if SDR would be an option for him. The specialist‘s have found that this type of surgery on Chase may not work and therefore would be too much of a risk. Chase has had a Gait Analysis, which assess the way he walks or runs and examines his lower limbs, in 2017 and another in 2018. This was so that they could compare and detect if there has been any changes in Chase’s muscles and posture.

By doing these tests they have realised that Chase’s muscle tone has got weaker and therefore they will need to intervene sooner than expected. This means in the next 3 months Chase will have an appointment with a specialist that will discuss the procedure to extend 4 of his muscles in his lower limbs. In hope there won’t be any lasting damage to them muscles which could make Chase deteriorate.

Chase attends Footsteps therapy twice a year to help him be as active as possible, this is very important to Chase as he loves football and joining in with his friends. He is such a determined little boy who loves being involved in as much as he possibly can.

Ashley has very kindly offered to run the Manchester half marathon to help raise funds for Chase to be able to continue going to Footsteps ❤️

Any donations will be hugely appreciated to support Ashley and Chase.

Thank you all so much for you continued support!
