The Mehta family has always been at the heart of our community - they were part of the local team that regenerated Mitcham Lane and every Christmas since we have celebrated Christmas together outside their shop. They stayed open for as long as they could during the pandemic which put them on the front line. We are all so sad to hear that both brothers went down with COVID and heartbroken at the passing of Mr Mehta snr.
