Story

We’ve all felt first hand what’s it’s like to lose a loved one to cancer.

We feel it, but how can we defeat it?

Truth is, that there’s nothing we can do to stop the pain that we’ve went through.

It doesn’t get any easier.

Look, I’m not going to lie, the pain will never leave. Our loved ones will stay in our hearts forever and we’ll despise this disease.

But nothing in life ever goes everyone’s way.

We must accept a certain level of defeat, so we can build and grow.

It’s not as easy as a. b c. But, we’re a resilient race.

We’ll grow by raising money for the research that’s needed.

The research that’s already helping millions.

And if that means me putting my life on the line to positively change someones, then I’m in.

I’m going to scale Kilimanjaro. That’s right, the highest mountain in Africa.

This coming from a man who will drive to Tesco for a garlic bread.

Luther king stated that “the time is right to do what is right” and our time is now.

Please give what you can.

Anything is better than nothing and I’ll see you at the other end.

Wish me luck.
