Story
The Cannabis Education Convention
In 2018 we hope to hold a groundbreaking event to help educate the UK citizens about Cannabis and it's uses and benefits.
We hope to get Experts, MPs, Campaigners, and patients together to talk with one another about how we can keep the campaign moving forwards.
Some possible ideas for the event are below, please note these are ideas and nothing is set in stone yet. I have started some planning but at this stage the hardest part will be securing a location. This is what the crowdfund is primarily for.
Birmingham City Football Club have as good as said yes to our event happening there on 25th July 2018. We may have to change the name of the event to CannaEduCon so that the word cannabis isn't so obvious, but aside from that, it looks like we are on!!! So, 10am - 8pm we will hopefully be taking over the "Legends Lounge" and having a good old chinwag about cannabis law reform!
I have come up with some subjects to cover: Law Reform: Crime & the impact on policing in the UK , Medical: Mental health (debunking the myths) and symptoms/illnesses that can be relieved with cannabis, Tax Revenue to be earned & savings to be made, Alcohol Vs Cannabis , Political landscape as it stands now (or as it is when the convention takes place, if things have changed)
This is by no means an exhaustive list, but just some ideas I have put together so far.
Tea & Coffee will be provided for all ticket holders, a buffet lunch will be offered as an optional extra; price to be confirmed, probably around £15 ish.
The next step is getting the deposit put down to secure the venue, at the moment it is only ours until someone else comes along wanting the same date, so PLEASE DONATE IF YOU CAN AND SHARE THIS PAGE, then we can get the venue secured, which means I can talk to potential speakers with a fixed date, time and location in mind!
This really could be a groundbreaking event!
We WILL be taken seriously, and that is VITAL in our fight for cannabis law reform.

We have secured Birmingham City Football Club's "Legend's Lounge" for Wednesday July 25th 2018 from 10am until 8pm! It is provisionally booked, but we need the raise the deposit! We are getting close but we need to get to £350 ASAP! We may have to make this a paid ticket event if we cannot raise enough by crowdfunding. We have estimated a ticket price of around £15 if we don't raise enough from crowdfunding. Hopefully it will not come to that and we will be able to keep this a FREE event! PLEASE KEEP SHARING and donate if you can!

Debunking the inflated mythical "Reefer Madness" tabloid story sham. Alcohol Vs Cannabis - Why is this question never addressed? Tax Revenue & Savings - Impact that regulation could have in the way of tax revenue and saving money for the NHS, Police etc Politics - The political landscape as it relates to cannabis and ways to push for change CLEAR's aims, objectives and future plans.
