Story

Canterbury House Care Home has come together to help support a local zoo that has been using a lot of its resources to feed the animals. Welsh Mountain Zoo is based in Colwyn Bay, North Wales.

To date (9/6/20) we have raised £640 internally by our staff team!

With everything being affected by Covid-19, we thought it would be good to adopt an animal at Welsh Mountain Zoo to do our part and support a good cause.

Upon closing date of our donation page, we will adopt an animal wholesomely for one year. We will also receive an adoption package which we will receive two free tickets to Welsh Mountain Zoo and some other goodies. We are using these on our tombola later in the year to raise money for the residents at Canterbury House.

Here is what Gary Roberts, Home Manager has to say:

Our residents have enjoyed visits from the outreach program. The staff at Canterbury House have worked extremely hard during these difficult times to keep our residents and each other safe. I am extremely proud of the staff choosing to support other struggling organisations.

We ask if you can donate anything, it would mean the absolute world to us.
