Story

Capel Battery was an 8inch Coastal Artillery Battery built for the defence of the Channel and was operational June 1942, Emplacement No1 has recently been unearthed and is allmost fully intact, the spoil has been used to recreate the defensive berm on its original footprint, come along on workdays to help out or just pay us a visit
