    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Hi everyone.

As some of you may know, I will be travelling to South Africa next January to coach rugby in the local townships of Cape Town. Some of you may also be aware that South Africa has some of the highest rates of murder and crime in the entire world.

It is important to steer the young people of these townships away from this pathway and instead, send them on a different journey to a better future. In these townships, most of the youth have limited opportunities. Team sports such as rugby are a very valuable tool giving the township youths an opportunity to improve their lives. Rugby allows people to develop teamwork, discipline and respect as well as enjoying themselves while playing. Rugby can help bring these communities together and help give them the best chance of success in their lives.

Please give what you can as you will ultimately be helping the youth of the South African townships start a new life.
