Capture - The Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour Charity has now been in existence for just over a year. With the help of our supporters we have raised vital funds that are enabling us to fund research into DSRCT and the care of all those diagnosed.

This coming year we want to continue our mission - by raising funds to support research into the palliative care of young people with less survivable cancers - ensuring everyone no matter their prognosis gets to truly Live for as long as possible.

But we also want to go further than that and start offering concrete support to families experiencing a new diagnosis and those with an existing one, sending out care packages to young people in hospital and their siblings or children and operating a help-line to make sure people can get support when they need it.

We can’t do this without your help.

No-one thinks it will be them. We all hope it won’t. But the reality is that this devastating diagnosis will continue to occur.

It’s our job to make sure that support is there whoever it touches, that awareness increases and that the most up to date information is there when people need it most. But most of all it’s our job to make sure that research happens, that treatment improves, that more young people stay with us.
