I've raised £250 to provide educational resources for children at The Baan Tham Namchai Orphanage

We will be visiting the children and staff at the orphange over the Easter holidays. They have requested that we donate black and blue pens, hb pencils, uht milk, vegetable oil, oyster sauce and chocolate powder for the children. Such simple items! We would like to gift the children with all of these items and plenty more educational supplies and resources for all ages.
Due to luggage restrictions, we are only able to take a certain amount of these gifts with us from the UK, so intend on buying the rest when we arrive in Thailand.
I visited this orphanage in 2008 and it made an everlasting impression. I have worked with children from all walks of life but have never seen such wonderful gratefulness and sheer happiness in children from such simple efforts. I enjoyed playing simple outdoor games with them and they enthusiastically showed me their rooms, clothes and toys. We practiced our writing and singing together. The children seemed to love having visitors coming to play with them and I‘m really looking forward to going back and meeting old and new faces.
This orphanage was founded after the 2004 Tsunami and continues to provide a loving and secure home for orphans. The children have access to education and lots of recreational activities and trips. They also help to raise funds themselves in lots of ways including designing tea towels for sale.
We will share photos of the gifts and the children receiving them. Please support this cause by giving a small donation. You can also give pens/ pencils to us personally by hand if you would prefer.
Thank you so much!
