I've raised £100 to help send a Sheppey Scout to the World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia America in July this year. Specially selected to represent Kent.

Toby is my 17 year old son who has been in scouting for 11 years . Scouting has been a very big part of his life and has gain so much from his time spent being a scout. It has shaped the person he has become today. He has had many adventures and met many new life long friends. In 2017 Toby was given the oppertunity to be part of the cast in Kent international jamboree held in Detlin (cover photo) something he will never forget. Then last year he travelled to Ghana to volenteer as a teacher (his chosen career) in a school out there. This was a life changing experience for Toby, equally for the children of Ghana as Toby took reading books pencils paper rulers and much more. Last year he was awarded Young Person of the year. So this brings me to why we are raising funds. Toby was selected at a camp to attend the 24th World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia America. This will be an adventure of a life time. The cost is £3995 which includes everything. All bar visa, jabs and spending money. Funding is made up of payments from parents, collective where we have been raising funds as a team and then Toby has a personal target. I am trying to help Toby raise £100 towards his target. Please help Toby reach his target 🇺🇸
