Story

Hello.

As you may have seen on Facebook (HERE) or on in the local papers (HERE).

Rachels best friend Willow was in her field on the 29th of October when without warning a firework was let off near her field and landed in the field. This scared her beyond belief and she bolted over multiple fences in the paddock.

After getting away she found herself scared on the road and was unfortunately struck by a car. Fortunately the driver is thankfully okay! Willow sustained major injuries to her legs and back which are currently being treated by the amazing team at Oakham Veterinary Hospital. She is hopefully going to make a full recovery with their help. Unfortunately this will mean Rachel incurs massive costs to make sure Willow is fighting fit in the future. The recovery will be many long months!

Please see below for the injuries incurred (warning graphic)

While Willow will get the best care possible, I've set up this page to help take the strain off Rachel after this stressful time.

If you cannot donate, don't worry. Please share and spread the message that Rachel is very strongly pushing and sign the petition below.

The petition Rachel believes in is to stop anybody getting fireworks to make it safe for animals.

Sorry Rachel, I know you didn't want to quite go down this route but I think it's unfair that you always take the grunt of the costs from other peoples mishaps!

Thanks guys and gals!
