Story

Thanks for taking the time to read about our fundraising event. Cardigan Memorial Hall and Swimming Pool is a local charity that relies on donations and revenues in order to provide a local service. We have decided to support the pool as we all have children who have learned, or are learning, to swim in Cardigan pool. In fact three of us have learned to swim in Cardigan pool ourselves. We all want to help this service to continue so it is there in the future for other families to benefit from as ours have.

The hall is home to a wide range of sports clubs including Rhys Harries Fitness Coaching which supports many local triathletes and runners at all levels, training for events from first time sprint triathlons to Ironman Wales. The pool itself is used for training by the RNLI, surf life saving clubs and swimming clubs. It is a service that keep many young people involved in positive and healthy activities. It really is a key part of our community.

Cardigan Swimming Pool is a true community resource being used by parents with toddlers learning to swim, community discos, a wide range of sports clubs and for pensioners to keep fit and healthy.

The staff and trustees at Cardigan pool are doing everything they can to provide a range of services for the community and keep the pool and hall up and running. We hope that you will help them by donating. No amount is too small, everything helps. So, if you can, donate to this great community cause.
