I've raised £500 to Allow Cardinal Heenan House to buy Tovertafel, a life changing game for those living with dementia.

Torvatafel is a new interactive light game specifically designed for people living with mid to late stage dementia. It was developed to stimulate activity - physical, mental and social. The game helps individuals to relax and reminisce and has been described as a "magic game", encouraging and engaging those unable to communicate in other ways.
Cardinal Heenan House is a residential care home to residents living with dementia and recently had a trial of the new, life changing game. Seeing the residents interacting with the game was truly amazing and very emotional. As a result our fundraising for the £8000 equipment has begun. Having been installed in homes across the country, it has brought happiness to the lives of many.
Having seen first hand the effects that the game can have on residents, on the 3rd September we will be running in the Wigan 10k and would appreciate anything that you could give to contribute towards helping change the lives if those living with Dementia at Cardinal Heenan.
