Story

Hello, and thank you for visiting.

With the growing number of people sleeping rough across the UK, i will be making care packs, to be distributed to people who need them most this Christmas.

I think you will agree that it's incredibly upsetting and heartbreaking that some people do not have a roof over their head, and go without much needed necessities. This under no circumstances should be apparent in today's society. According to the charity Shelter the number of people sleeping rough, is not decreasing but sadly increasing!

The care packs will be distributed in Liverpool City Centre on the 23/12/2017, were 200 people are thought to be sleeping rough.

They will be distributed by The Secret Kitchen, and any leftover care packs will be donated to The Whitechapel Charity.

I have contacted some well known brands, to see if they could gift any items. If this is unsuccessful. I will purchase the items myself, and use any donations received to make up the care packs that will include:

Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Deodorant, Soap, Hand sanitiser, Cereal bars, Tissues, Shampoo, Body wash, Wet wipes, Socks, Gloves, Lip balm, Flannel, Plasters, Non Perishable food.

Depending on the feedback, if there is any money left over or more brands make donations. Non perishable food will be bought with the funds, and the food will be donated to The Secret Kitchen & The White Chapel Charity.

A minimum donation of £3 is all that is needed to help make one of the care-packs!

If you can donate, i will include a Christmas card with a personal message from you.

This is optional, and you can of course remain anonymous.

I have added below the links to previous years charity campaigns. They were both a huge success, thanks to people donating.

Lets hope this one is too.
