Hello. My name is Dara Adewole, I am 10 years old. I have been running my charity called Caregirl for the past four years to help the homeless and less fortunate  people in the U.K.

In the UK there are over THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND homeless people living on the streets! This is very sad and shocking to hear, this is why I am very passionate about my charity.

These people will spend Christmas this year cold, alone and hungry without presents to unwrap like many of us will. While we have parties with family and friends,they will be begging for anything they can get; that is NOT OK!

Every year, for my birthday which is a few days before Christmas, I like to do an outreach to the homeless. This year, I would like to give a total of 60 sleeping bags and 60 blessing bags(which contain hats ,gloves, socks, snacks and toiletries) to homeless people.

On Christmas day, my family and I will be spending the day helping the Nightingale Angels, a charity that I volunteer with. They are having  a Christmas party for the homeless people in Barking and Dagenham. I will like to donate food and give some wrapped Christmas presents to them and also book hotel rooms for some elderly homeless people so they can have a truly merry Christmas.

Our goal is £800 so we need all the help we can get. Thank you for your donation - you're making lives better.
