Story

There is at least 320,000 homeless people in Britain and this is likely an underestimate. This suggests one in every 200 people are sleeping on the streets. Whilst many of us will be enjoying the festivities this time of year in the lead up to Christmas, these people do not have the same luxury. Providing homeless people with support and care is important throughout the year, however with Christmas being regarded the time for giving and spending time with loved ones, helping those in need particularly during this cold time of year can have a huge impact.

Conditions on the streets are extremely harsh and cold in winter, this sadly leads to many deaths. Essential items like a warm pair of socks, emergency blankets, food and water make a huge difference. Recent figures by the charity Crisis, have shown the majority of the British public feel upset and frustrated by the state of homelessness across the UK, but don't know what they can do to help. There are many ways you can do your bit for homelessness this Christmas, we will be giving out Christmas care packages with such essential items to the homeless.

Your support would be greatly appreciated as we will use the donations to create as many good quality care packages as possible. Lets spread some joy to those who are in real need of it this Christmas. Thank you!
