I am reaching out to the amazing Just Giving community to ask for your help in funding my service dog, Cookie's, veterinary care. She needs emergency care, care that the PDSA won't cover and our insurance is fighting. My gorgeous girl has started having seizures without a known cause. Her vets have been so incredibly supportive, but sadly they have exhausted all of the tests they can do, and none of them have shown an obvious cause. Her seizures are ongoing, meaning she now needs to see a veterinary neurologist. I did the responsible thing and insured my pet when I got her, but her insurance has let us down. Leaving us blindsided with a whopping £2,500 bill to get her an MRI and to see a specialist. If everyone who sees this post donates even just the minimum, we could get get the ball rolling for getting Cookie a treatment plan.

Cookie saved both my life and the life of my unborn daughter when she was just a puppy, after she detected a serious heart arrhythmia in myself when I was just 28 weeks pregnant. We both could have died without her. I owe Cookie everything. I am alive, my daughter is alive because of her. I get to watch my baby girl grow up because a puppy with no alert training knew something was wrong with me before I did. She saved our lives, and now I am begging you to help me save hers.
