Tianna is our beautiful 3 year old little girl & she was born full term & healthy. At 3-4months of age she started having severe epileptic seizures & over the past 3 years she has been on various medications, unfortunately they haven't been successful in controlling her seizures & she has had multiple episodes on a daily basis ever since. Also over that time her development and abilities have regressed, she is now fed via a gastrostomy, is unable to walk, talk, laugh, smile and she is totally dependant on her family for all her care & needs. Tianna is getting bigger day-by-day, so much so it is becoming difficult to take her upstairs, as a result we have been awarded a DFG (disabled facilities grant) for adaptations to be made to the ground floor of our family home & we have secured additional funding on top of the DFG but still have a shortfall of £6000. We have paid the architects fees and have put the build out to tender and have a builder ready to start the work but he cannot do so until the shortfall is fulfilled.
