My parents home is in need of attention and some love once again to be able to bring it back into a garden they can once again enjoy and be made safer for them to use.

My parents are now both in their 80's with failing eye sight so the garden has been left as they feel uncomfortable going out there much as only recently my mum had a fall and hurt herself and they feel unable to keep up with the love it needs so has become dangerous in places and I know they miss their garden.

The garden was flooded in 2011 after bad rains and local tidal river broke its bank and left the garden a mess and over time since then the ground has sunk and paving areas have started to collapse making matters worse.

Id really love a chance to restore the garden back into a place they can sit and relax and feel happy and comfortable exploring it, id love to create a low maintenance garden that they can ponder around in as well as let other family and friends help with the up keep. Most of all bring their old pond back into life that suffered so much during the flood allowing them once again to enjoy the wildlife they once adored. The main costs after speaking to firms is sorting out the subsidence caused and making sure the entire area is properly drained off before and new work can be carried out.

Id love to give them a lawn made of artificial grass so there is no need to cut the grass, all new paving areas with none slip paving and have new back steps built as they are all breaking away right now and very slippery.

My parents gave me everything when I was young often missing out on things themselves as I have found out later on in life and id love to be able to give them something back so am asking for help to raise the funds to allow me to bring in a good designer that can develop the garden and surrounding areas back into a place my parents can once again enjoy for many years to come.
