Speeding lorries destroy sleep & damage buildings…and Speed Kills.

So far, in Wicken we have been lucky. But we never know when our luck might falter. Help SpeedWatch Wicken purchase the equipment to monitor speed. The equipment we want to buy serves two purposes 1) during SpeedWatch sessions the equipment tells us how fast vehicles are travelling. Anyone travelling over 35mph is reported to the police who take action. 2) when the SpeedWatch group is not monitoring traffic the equipment will be used to show drivers their speed, along with a flashing message saying either “Thank You” or “Slow Down”. The equipment costs £2850. Please give generously, if each and every house in Wicken donated just £10 we would reach our target quickly. Help SpeedWatch Wicken help you.
