Hello Everyone,

2 years ago I jumped out of a plane @ 15,000 feet to raise money and awareness for a local charity, ever since the buzz of this I’ve been looking at other charities and ways to raise money and awareness.

A few months back before COVID I came across a charity which I think needs to gain publicity and the subject needs to be spoken about more freely.

The charity is Fertility Network U.K

Fertility Network UK provides free and impartial support, advice, information and understanding for anyone affected by fertility issues.

They are a small charity working hard to help the 3.5 million people affected by the devastation and pain fertility issues wreak. They do not receive any guaranteed funding and rely on grants and the generosity of our supporters.

Lately this subject of fertility has been talked about within the media and with some Celebrities.

So I thought this would be the perfect time to join the charity, and became a volunteer with the charity. This involves helping out on peer to peer support groups and hosting the first “male only support group in wales” which is accessed through zoom meetings

So the message We are trying to send out is to get men to start talking about fertility.

So now you know a little bit of the charity, let me explain what crazy fundraising idea that we have come up with to raise awareness and money.

On the 4th March 2022 Me and a group

Will be hiking to Everest Base Camp.

Everest Base Camp perched on the Khumbu Glacier the foot of Everest is at an altitude of 17,598 ft

So over the coming months I’ll be raising money in different ways so that this can happen, money that is raised will help fund the trip and also go straight to the charity
