Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
I am hoping to Publish a book on Mental health. Its been written by myself over the last year of two inpatient stays, one under section, one voluntarily and time spent with community care teams. It could be classed as Autobiographical, Poetry, Self Help, Research or simply Fiction.
The idea behind the project was to given readers an insight into the real world of Mental health through observations, satire, honest commentary and personal perspective. Its been reviewed by publishers but I need a literary agent I cannot afford on Disability Benefits as due to my mental health i'm unable to work. I've contacted mental health charities too but it's still a costly process.
The book would then be published in its entirety, 500 copies with its own individual ISBN number, downloadable as an E book or as a printed copy on amazon etc. I would attempt to do book releases and take the book to hospitals to read exerts in creative writing sessions with in patients as Occupational Therapy as well as donating copies to all mental health hospitals or centres in the local area or national organisations.
The Cost is for a full package, it can be achieved slightly less but would require more work by myself that I may not be able to complete in the quickest fashion. .
It would not only benefit me but thousands of people as there is nothing like it out there. I really hope you help this cause. Thanks for your time.
