Unfortunately, like a lot of people these days Cancer is playing a big part in my life for 2016. I have good friends who are battling cancer, friends supporting their parents through cancer treatment, and one of my best friends coping with their very young child being treated for a cancerous brain tumour. I have close relatives who are winning their battles and unfortunately a very good friend who lost their battle this September, leaving behind 2 very young children. My own husband had a cancer scare earlier this year, which thankfully turned out to be something far less scary.
It has been a challenging year to say the least…
I have been at a loss to know how to support my friends and family, beyond being a shoulder to cry on, so since I am in the fortunate position of enjoying the good health of me and my family, I am turning my focus to fundraising.

On Saturday 10th December 2016 I will be taking part in a skydive and I am hoping that you will support my efforts by donating to my xxxx page. The funds raised will go towards three charities as listed below:
1. Tommy’s Journey. This charity has been set up for my friend, who’s little boy Tommy is battling a brain tumour. Tommy’s tumour continues to grow and the funds raised will support his family to be with him as he is treated in America with Proton Therapy.
2. A crowdfund to support the young family of my friend, Kim Marie Brown who lost her battle with leukemia on the 5th September 2016.
3. Cancer Research UK to support research and treatment into all cancers, so more people recover from their cancer diagnosis and fewer families face the heartbreak of losing a loved one.
