Story
Hello. I am hoping for a little help to see us through and to keep a roof over our childrens heads, I would be eternally grateful. My husband had been recently diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis and I am working full time while he does his best with our three young children at home. I have been shocked to find that there is little financial support available and it will take months to find out if we can receive any help at all, due to benefits being cut and the til out of universal credit. Our funds got really low while he was so poorly and while I struggled to find a job. I am now working full time and trying to look after my family but in the situation of not being able to pay our mortgage this month while we wait to find out if we can get any financial support, apparently this will take at least 6 weeks. Meanwhile the tax credits we did get have been cancelled because my husband had applied for financial credit due to disability which automatically cut our tax credits and we can't re apply due to the roll out of universal credit... so we are worse off than ever. If we could get a little help to pay our mortgage this month my faith in humanity would be eternally restored! And I just have to hope that some support will come along and get us back on our feet. In the meantime I will continue to work hard for my family and believe that things will work out. Thank you for reading. Xxx
