    Story

Update*** Tails is in a vets outside milton keynes (which is where i live). She does have a fractured jaw and is staying in to see how she eats, this will determine if she needs a tube in her neck for feeding, or alifnsue is managing on her own. They were the only ones willing to help me, with the understanding that i pay back the full bill within three months. Now after the hassle and refusals i have been through i am now going to set up a charity after this specifically for helping towards any unexpected vet bills, for people on a low income or in a difficult situation. Its heart breaking to think that over something so unexpected, certain companies told me that if i can not afford her bill then to consider handing her over. Please lets raise enough funds so i can register as a proper charity. This money will not go to anyone other than the bills for vet care. Animals are our family members, and i believe no one should suffer emotionally or our pets to suffer physically.

Before I say about the reason why im here on this site asking for financial help. Let me start by saying that I know this is my fault, as I didnt get pet insurance. She is an indoor cat so my attitude to it was “what could possibly go wrong in my own home”? Stupidly i put it off for a long period of time.

Im a single mother to a 7 year old, and have only just started my new job wednesday just gone. So i have absolutely no more funds left to pay for the high vet bills. Because of this the RSPCA have said to think about handing her over to be put to sleep. 😢

My beautiful cat has fallen from a three storey window. Her name is Tails. She is Four years old. Im not in the catchment area for PDSA, or Blue Cross. I was declined finance in Vets4Pets because my credit rating is not on good form. Therefore I am here asking for help.

I have rung around veterinary surgeries today. Managed to get her into Vets4Pets. They have given her two injections to help with pain and swelling. They told me i have to make some kind of payment and all i could afford was £30. So i still owe £54.00.

She needs to have an xray under anesthetic, this they have stated will be around £300. After the xray they can then determine if her jaw is fractured or dislocated. And check over the rest of her too. They said the cost will be higher but how high I do not know until the xray results are back. (if i can even get that far). She will be pain free for the next 24hours only as the effects of the injections will then wear off 😢

I do not want my beautifil girl to suffer, but i also do not want her to be put to sleep because of a broken/dislocated jaw. So im asking anyone out there to please help. I do not want the money to keep. I want it to be a loan only and i pay it back monthly.

I have no other means of financial help from anyone so please Please could you help me. If you can, then email me your details so i can repay the momey back.

Thank you so much for reading this.

And my advice to anyone out there who tjinks the same as i did before today.......please please get pet insurance.
