Story
Recently our school playground was vandalised to the extent that the equipment the children played with is no longer safe or usable. The cost to fix the damage has been estimated at approximately £5000 as it is most likely that these items will need completely replaced.
As parents of children within the school we are horrified that this has happened. These items were only approximately 10 weeks old and were used by both the primary school children and the children attending the ELCC. We have waited such a long time for improvements to the playground in our wee school, and the children absolutely loved the new items,
We would love to give the children back what they deserve. To do this we are hoping that our friends, family and local community will pull together and help us raise these much needed funds. Any money raised would be used towards the repair and replacement of the equipment and for any increase in security requirements in the hope that this does not happen again.
Any donations big or small will be greatly received.
We will keep you all updated with any progress in the works needing done.
Many thanks for reading everyone, Carleith Parent Hub
