Story
My son Archie, now aged 6 was diagnosed with Tonic Clonic epilepsy at 3 years old. His seizures have changed over the years from just at night time to also having absences through the day too at school. Monitoring these life threatening seizures throughout the night is very difficult and despite having a Sentorium bed monitor which detects motion, Archie no longer shakes, he goes completely rigid meaning i am at risk of not being able to be there fir him when he needs me most. I rely solely on mothers instinct and baby monitors to hear him in the night. Archie is the most precious thing in my life, so much so that I am planning to do a 160ft crane bungee jump on the 22nd June at the O2 Arena (my 36th birthday) to raise vital funds to buy equipment that will detect if Archie is likely to have a seizure. Along with that, I would like to buy an anti suffication mattress and pillow. The name speaks for itself! Please, if you can help us get this equipment, it would be life changing for us both: a decent night sleep for this mummy, sleep overs at friends and relatives for a little boy and peace of mind knowing that if and when Archie needs me, I will be there. Please help by sponsoring what you can, every £1 helps. Thank you xxx
