I had a cardiac arrest in 2016 no prior knowledge of heart conditions in the family my good friend Caroline had just popped round when i dropped down in front of her, with the assistance of the 999 team she did cpr till the ambulance arrived. I was in an induced coma for a couple of days my family were told to prepare for the worst if i lived i would be a vegetable my famy all came over, after 2 days i came out of the coma only effect seemed to be short term memory loss, i then spent 5 days i. Heart ward before i went by air ambulance to uk heart hospital were i was diagnosed with lqt 8 i had an icd fitted soon after. I then found out i was expecting my lg she has been diagnosed with lqt 8 as well.

So i am walking the parish walk to support Caroline's Greenhill animal sanctuary and Craigs Heartstrong Foundation. As they are both close to my heart.
