I'm raising £3000 to support Three firefighters Charity, The Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund and The Blue Light Card Foundation.

Story

This September, I have the honor of representing the UK as part of a 343-strong team of firefighters in the Atlanta Memorial Stair Climb. We are uniting across the Atlantic to mark 25 years since the 9/11 attacks, honoring the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We will be climbing 110 flights of stairs—the height of the World Trade Center—wearing full fire kit and carrying the photo of a fallen comrade.

Every step I take is to support three vital organizations that look after our own:

The Fire Fighters Charity

The Blue Light Card Foundation

The Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund

Please do search the important work they do so you know exactly where your donation is going and how it helps.

This challenge is entirely self-funded, meaning 100% of your donation goes directly to these charities. Please help me honor the fallen by supporting those who continue to serve today.

I’ve always felt immensely proud to serve as an on-call firefighter here in Bampton, Devon. This community is my home, and being there for them when my pager goes off is a job I truly love.

This September, I’m taking that pride across the Atlantic.

I won’t be doing this alone—you’ll see some of the local crew roped into help me with fundraising events over the coming months.

I’ll be sharing regular updates on my training (and the crew's 'contributions'!) on our social media page:

Thank you for your support, now let’s get to the top of those stairs!
