Story
Carnival has been cancelled in Huddersfield due to a lack of funding for 2019, as such a new committee has been created with the aim of bringing Carnival back to Huddersfield and Greenhead Park in 2020. Within this overall aim comes a series of events and workshops through the year; aimed at helping the elderly stay connected and giving youths more options to put their energy into being creative and out of trouble. This walk is one of many events aimed at fundraising to bring Carnival back to Huddersfield, an event which boosts the local economy through a massive surge of tourism.
