In the early hours of 15th February 2024, we suffered a break-in and robbery. Our building has been damaged and items have been taken including electrical equipment, stock, and some small cash sums.

It really is heart-breaking that someone would do this to a small, community-focused company, especially during a time where costs are constantly rising for small businesses like ours. Carnival House prides itself on being a welcoming place for all, where anyone can get involved with our activities and events.

We are also so thankful for the wonderful people who we see day in, day out at our venue, and know that the person that did this does not reflect on the local community we know and love.

Any money you can donate to help us in the wake of this incident is greatly appreciated, no matter how small. It will go towards replacing the items taken, and repairing the damage to the building, as well as heightened security measures. We are still open as normal, so hope to see you in our cafe, or at an event very soon.
