I've raised £500 to To purchase 20 pop up waterproof tents for homeless people in Northampton

The average age of death for a rough sleeper in England is just 47. Bad weather and fear of attack make life difficult and uncertain.
Many of those living outdoors in towns and cities have addictions and mental health problems
Nearly 550 people in Northampton are registered as statutory homeless after losing their home or being evicted, latest figures show. The statistics show that the town is far worse than many places in England, with almost triple the national average of statutory homeless people, adjusted for population size. Many of the homeless people not only suffer poor health physically and mentally, they are victims of abuse, theft and loneliness. Homeless figures are based on those registered as homeless, many are not registered homeless, meaning the number homeless, sleeping rough on our streets, at time in below zero conditions, is far higher. On talking to some of our homeless people on our streets they told me that one of their biggest problems is battling the weather, staying dry and warm is one of their key priorities.
Please help.
